Telluride Magazine is
a regional publication, supporting content that reflects Telluride-centricity.
The stories and photographs carried therein are of the places, people
and history that reflect the character of Telluride and its surrounding
communities. This is a tight framework that includes Telluride, Mountain
Village, Telluride Ski Resort, and the small outlying bedroom communities
of the region. The San Juan Mountains host these hamlets, including the
Lizard Head Wilderness area and its 14,000-foot Wilson Massif and the
likewise lofty Sneffels Wilderness Area. The San Miguel River and its
many tributaries tie this landscape together. Keep this framework in mind
before querying the editors with a story about your 86-year-old grandmother
who just summated Blanca Peak in the Sangre de Cristo Range. Photography Please do not make submissions without contacting staff and obtaining guidelines first. |
